SOLID Architecture has designed the Open Air Stage near the town of Maria Lankowitz Piberstein in Austria.The stage is located on the basement concrete prefabricated housing, apart from the closed access area for artists, as well as changing rooms, space for sanitation facilities, showerrooms, first-aid room, space for storage facilities and technical space. Stage is located right above this room addition. Lateral phase two towers, with one of them closed and the other in the structure of open-up, opening the stage to the arena of nature, with a diagonal set. At the rear, standing onstage with a link rate of open terrain.
Stage tower wrapped with a wooden plate covered with untreated larch. The rooms are light and sound design to be accommodated in it can be opened to the stage with a large shear walls, while the press room on the upper floor is oriented to the lake. There are granted access to ground floor via the stairs. The stage is covered by a large wooden roof emulate floating-field line. This structure is supported by gluelam rolls, and light and sound design can be arranged on the underside of the roof structure.
Projected to open the concert stage as a multi-functional structure in the middle area of existing recreational parks. Its two-sided orientation, phase-arena and standing – the lake, allowing to use it not just to the concert but also functions as a place for other activities such as sporting events, discos open, pictures and voice recordings, indicating lights, etc. In this way, secured no enlargement of the entire range of possible utilization of the reserve.
