World Kitchen Style design Inspirations

If you are seeking for an inspiration to create a warm family-gathering place, the Classic architectural elements, vibrant colors and distressed finishes is the simple but perfect ideas. Some people were agree that kitchen is the favorite family-gathering place, so here I show you some ideas to creating an Old World Kitchen style to meet your wishes. Old World style, means bringing in classical architectural elements or styling. Interior Designer Ann Morris, using a free-standing furniture and usually features a fireplace to creating an Old World style kitchen. Whereas, designer Didier Michot has using the dark cabinetry and furnishings but lighten up the room on the ceiling, wall space and floor to fullfil an Old World style. Kitchen Design by Gail Drury using a Natural stones which is combined with cherry wood floors or walnut cabinetry to set the Old World scene. Different with Dan Raney and Jaymes Richardson using a distressed finishes on the interior walls help define Old World texture. Hiding modern stainless steel appliances behind wooden panels is recommended for this design style. For Old World fabrics, pick rich colors, fewer flowers and more stripes. Choose a light colored stone, such as travertine or limestone, as the background, and add a pattern of hand-painted tiles or a colorful mural color. Then punch the room up with color by storing big glass bowls, pottery and pictures on thick wooden shelves.
