Spanish architects A-cero sent us some photos of an amazing and unusual prefab home that we just had to share. This black glass house design not only looks cool, but it is also the beginnings of a modular industrialized architectural construction process. Benefiting from the same modularity, technology, quality control and timeframe as modern industrial manufacture (architect are director of the project Joaquin Torres likens the process to Ford’s production lines) this new method of designing and building houses will benefit from factory production and on-site assembly, resulting in shorter construction times, more specialized labour, higher overall quality and lower price. This prefab home, one of two pilot projects, even comes with the option of being fully decorated and equipped, ready for occupancy – could you imagine yourself living here? We could! Check out this architecture firm’s modern take on a traditional Swiss chalet. Based in Switzerland and Los Angeles, tecARCHITECTURE conceived this cottage style house design that takes rustic-chic to a new level. Rather than settling for something expected, the homeowner commissioned tec, who played within the rules but manager to design something totally original and unforeseen. The cool, glass cottage design features a conventional roofline, but apart from its silhouette everything about it is contemporary. The minimalist facade boasts glass walls and open-air terraces that invite the outdoors in. Each room is naturally sun-soaked, and features a cool white palette with warm wood floors that add a sense of simple luxury. The view from the terraces is simple spectacular.

This design is very exciting but not suitable for tropical, it’s can give glass house effect. But this design very suitable at country with four season because can give warm temperature and more tight cost in light use.
